Supported Employment Coach
Pay: SCHADS Level 3-4 + casual loading ($48-$55 p/h) + super
Location: Rocklea, QLD
Employment Type: Full-time contract to June 2026 (1.0 FTE - option to split into two part-time roles)

Tradewind Australia is partnering with a well-established Australian Disability Enterprise in Brisbane's south to recruit a Supported Employment Coach for an immediate start through to June 2026.

This organisation delivers warehousing, packaging and labelling services while providing meaningful, supported employment to people with disability - predominantly individuals with intellectual disability. This is a hands-on, practical role supporting employees on the production floor in a structured, inclusive workplace environment.

About the Role

As a Supported Employment Coach, you'll work alongside employees with disability within a busy warehouse and production setting. Your role is to provide day-to-day guidance, structured training and workplace support to help individuals build skills, confidence and independence at work.

You'll support workflow organisation, break tasks into achievable steps, monitor progress and ensure employees are working safely and productively within a supportive team culture.

This role is based on-site in Rocklea, conveniently located near the train station, with standard hours of 7:30am-3:30pm.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement and review individual employment support plans
  • Provide on-the-job coaching, task breakdown and workplace training
  • Monitor employee progress and adjust supports as required
  • Maintain accurate client documentation and progress notes
  • Support safe work practices and WHS compliance on the production floor
  • Liaise with supervisors, managers and stakeholders regarding employee progress
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvements

    What You'll Bring

    Essential
  • Certificate III in Disability Support (or equivalent experience)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current National Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening clearance and completion of required NDIS modules
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Demonstrated experience supporting people with disability in employment or similar settings
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with people with intellectual disability
  • Practical, hands-on approach within a warehouse or production environment

    Desirable
  • Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience within an Australian Disability Enterprise or Disability Employment Service
  • Certificate IV in Disability Services and/or Training & Assessment (highly regarded)
