Job Description
Tradewind are working with a vibrant all-girls Catholic secondary school near Merrylands, NSW who are seeking an enthusiastic Technological and Applied Studies (TAS) teacher. This is a temporary full-time position beginning in term 3 and concluding at the end of term 4. Part-time applicants and those on the 417 WHV are also welcome to apply.
Demonstrated Experience and Skills
- qualifications and suitable experience to teach TAS
- demonstrated strategies to cater for a variety of learners
- desire to work as part of the TAS department and wider school team
- flexibility to respond to a dynamic learning environment
- evidence of a relational approach to colleagues, students, and parents
- effective organisation and ability to fulfil administrative and assessment requirements of a teaching role
- excellent communication skills
Prerequisites:
- Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
- Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references
