Job Description
Are you a TAS teacher looking for a permanent position beginning in term 2? Tradewind are seeking a passionate and dedicated TAS teacher to join a well-regarded independent co-educational school located near Edmondson Park in Sydney's Southwest. This is a full-time, ongoing position however part-time may be negotiable.
Qualifications and experience teaching Industrial Technologies Timber to years 7-12 is highly desirable, however teachers from all TAS disciplines are encouraged to apply. Experienced and graduate teachers are welcome.
Demonstrated Experience and Skills
- Qualifications and suitable experience to teach TAS
- Demonstrated strategies to cater for a variety of learners
- Desire to work as part of the wider school team
- Flexibility to respond to a dynamic learning environment
- Evidence of a relational approach to colleagues, students, and parents
- Effective organisation and ability to fulfil administrative and assessment requirements of a teaching role
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to achieve strong academic results
Prerequisites:
- Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Tertiary Teaching Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
- Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
