Textiles Teacher
Salary Range: $89,000-$140,000 + Super
Location: Upper North Shore, NSW
Employment Type: Part Time (0.8), Ongoing.
Tradewind Australia is proud to partner with a respected co-educational Independent school on the upper north shore to welcome a dedicated Textiles teacher to their team. This is a permanent part-time (0.8FTE) role, teaching 7 and 8 tech mandatory and 9, 10 and 12 textiles. About the Role
As a valued member of this supportive school community, you will:
- Teach textiles across various year levels.
- Create inclusive strategies to engage diverse learners in a dynamic classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators.
- Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Maintain effective organisation and meet administrative and assessment responsibilities.
Essential Criteria
- Qualifications: NESA accredited to teach textiles.
- Experience: Proven ability to cater for diverse learning needs.
- Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
- Prerequisites:
- Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent (minimum 4-year qualification or 75% completion).
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check and NESA.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
- Two referees with educational backgrounds.
