About the Role:
A wonderful teaching opportunity is available for an experienced Primary teacher to join a small Catholic Primary School in St Albans, located in Melbourne's West, in a full-time, contract until the end of the year with possible ongoing opportunities. This role is focused on instructing students in grade 5 within a small, supported, teaching team.
Key Duties:
- Craft, create, assess, and refine the curriculum for your subject areas and assigned grade levels
- Provide captivating and enthusiastic instruction
- Maintain up-to-date familiarity with primary curriculum initiatives
- Dedicate yourself to continuous professional growth, engaging in coaching, mentoring, and collaborative endeavours
- Show proficiency in teamwork, strategic thinking, innovative planning, and embody the ethos and mission of a Catholic school
Skills & Experience:
- Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
- Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Primary in a Catholic environment advantageous
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
