An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate VCE English Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive Catholic Girls College in Melbourne. The successful applicant will bring energy, expertise, and creativity to the teaching of English, inspiring students to develop as confident, articulate, and reflective learners.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated VCE English lessons that reflect best practice and align with the Victorian Curriculum and VCAA Study Design.
Foster a classroom culture that values curiosity, critical thinking, and open-minded discussion.
Provide timely, constructive feedback that supports student growth and achievement.
Contribute to the ongoing development and review of the English curriculum across the senior school.
Actively participate in the spiritual, pastoral, and co-curricular life of the college community.
Engage in professional learning and collaboration with colleagues to continually refine and strengthen teaching practice.
About You
Hold tertiary qualifications in Education and English (or a related discipline).
Hold current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
Demonstrate experience and expertise in teaching VCE English, with a strong understanding of the VCAA Study Design and assessment requirements.
Exhibit a genuine passion for literature and the power of language to inspire, connect, and inform.
Demonstrate commitment to the Catholic ethos and the values of inclusivity, integrity, and service.
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
