Job Description

Visual Arts Teacher

Salary Range: $79,589-118,063 + Super
Location:
Nathalia, Northern Victoria
Employment Type: Full Time, Ongoing

Tradewind Australia is proud to partner with a well-regarded government secondary school in Nathalia, located in northern Victoria's Goulburn Valley, to recruit a passionate and dedicated Visual Arts Teacher.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, community-focused school where students are known as individuals, creativity is encouraged, and teachers play a meaningful role in preparing young people to be work-ready or to continue with further study. If you value strong relationships, student voice and teaching in a supportive rural environment, this role offers genuine professional fulfilment.

About the School

The school is a Years 7-12 government secondary college with a proud history and strong reputation within its local community. With an enrolment of approximately 100 students, it offers a highly personalised and holistic approach to education, placing students at the centre of everything it does.

The school community is guided by the values of C.L.E.A.R. - Caring, Learning, Excellence, Accountability and Respect. Strong partnerships with parents, local businesses and the wider learning community support positive pathways for students, including tertiary study, apprenticeships, traineeships, TAFE and employment.

Small class sizes, a low student-to-teacher ratio and a collaborative staff culture allow teachers to make a meaningful impact and support students to thrive.

About the Role

As the Visual Arts Teacher, you will deliver engaging and relevant Visual Arts programs across the secondary year levels, supporting students to develop creative skills, confidence and a strong sense of identity as learners.

You will work closely with students in small classes, enabling highly personalised teaching and strong learning relationships. The role also offers opportunities to contribute broadly to the life of the school, including curriculum development, student voice initiatives and co-curricular programs driven by student interests.
