Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Perm or Contract
Overview:
Due to expansion, we are seeking multiple VR GPs across NSW. We are leading in the aged care community, pioneering the future of quality healthcare in the aged care sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- provide primary care services which include:
- taking medical history
- undertaking clinical examination
- arranging any necessary investigations
- implementing a management plan
- providing appropriate preventive health care
- conduct regular reviews and follow-ups with aged care residents.
- contribution to health assessments and medication management for new resident admissions.
- perform annual health assessment reviews for existing residents.
- review multidisciplinary care plans and participate in case conferences when needed.
Qualifications:
- Unrestricted Vocationally Registered (VR) unrestricted or restricted - FRACGP or FACRRM is preferred.
- AHPRA registered and is permitted to work in Australia.
- Can apply for a Medicare Provider Number.
- Own professional indemnity insurance (a copy of your policy must be provided to Company Medical Services for record purposes).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with telemedicine or remote healthcare delivery.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Interest or background in technology and innovation in healthcare.

- Support will be provided by the administration, IT and our experienced nursing team to help you focus on community and individual health
- For VR doctors only: be employed as a salaried general practitioner with a $330,000 salary package (inclusive of super) on a 5 day a week basis or on a casual basis at $180 + GST per hour rate.
Service Delivery Model
Our service delivery model involves weekly telehealth (video conferencing) sessions and a face-to-face visit once every 4 weeks. Initially, travel is necessary as we are expanding. However, as the project progresses and we successfully recruit local doctors, we anticipate a reduction in travel requirements in the long term.
