Tradewind are currently seeking to employ Youth Workers for a variety of opportunities based in Ipswich for a client providing support for children and young people in need of a safe environment.
Various permanent and casual opportunuties exist due to the expansion of our clients services.
We are seeking qualified Youth Workers with experience in managing and supporting complex and challenging behaviours. Candidates with a positive and resilient approach.
The Role
Supporting and managing young people in care
Providing routine and structure as well as support in daily living activities and life skills.
Maintaining a safe housing environment for all young people.
Completing all admin functions including case notes and reports.
A variety of shifts including sleepovers
Criteria
Relevant Qualification- Cert 4 in Youth Work or equivalent.
Current Police Check
Paid Blue Card
Current Drivers Licence
Suitable references
