An exciting chance awaits a Economics teacher with the ability to teach Accounting to join a high performing school, commencing in Term 3. Joining a supportive and collaborative team, you'll teach Economics and Accounting to students in years 10-12 in a full-time capacity. Key duties:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Teach economics topics in alignment with the Australian Curriculum.
  • Assessment: Design and administer assessments to evaluate students' understanding.
  • Support: Provide individualized assistance to students to improve comprehension.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing learning to stay current with economic theories and teaching methods.
  • Collaboration: Work with colleagues, parents, and administrators to create a supportive learning environment.

Skills & Experience:

  • Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
  • Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
  • Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Maths/Science
  • Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
