About the role:

This is a full-time position for a dedicated Primary Classroom Teacher who will carry out all professional teaching duties in alignment with the school's mission and learning principles.

  • Plan and implement a rich, differentiated teaching program centered on inquiry, active, and social learning.

  • Align lesson design and delivery with the IBO Primary Years Program (PYP) and the Australian Curriculum.

  • Monitor, evaluate, and report student progress to parents throughout the year.

  • Implement effective class management and be responsible for the safety and welfare of students.

  • Cultivate positive and timely communication and relationships with parents.

  • Actively support the Jewish ethos by participating in celebrations, commemorations, and attending camps and/or shabbatonim of up to three nights per year.

About You:

You are a passionate and experienced educator with a strong commitment to student development and high-quality learning outcomes.

  • Full or Provisional VIT Registration is essential.

  • Possess an appropriate teaching degree qualification.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in implementing the Primary Years Program (PYP) framework is highly regarded.

  • A thorough understanding of the Australian Curriculum and its assessment requirements.

  • A commitment to ongoing professional learning and reflection to continually grow as an educator.

  • A high level of empathy and dedication to fostering a student-safe environment and adhering to all Child Safeguarding practices.
