About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Secondary English teacher to join a supportive, growing workplace for term 1, 2025. You will be delivering high quality English lessons to students across Y7-12, while contributing to the development of the school's English curriculum. The school is an Independent K-12 school, located in Sydney's eastern suburbs, with a growing community of over 600 students and more than 120 staff.
Key Duties:
- Have a clear passion for teaching English
- Provide targeted support for individuals students and small groups
- Work in a collaborative environment
- Plan and implement high quality teaching and learning programs
Skills & Experience:
- Secondary teacher qualification
- Stage 6 experience highly regarded
- Hold a valid and up to date NESA registration
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references
Offering:
- Stage 4-6 English
- Term 1, 2025 start
- Full time position
- Offering of salary based is on your proven experience, with a range of $91,186 - $129,142
