About the role:
A fantastic opportunity awaits for a Secondary Science teacher to join a community orientated school within the Eastern area of Sydney. You will be teaching science across Year 7-10. Confidence to teach Physics stage 5 and 6 would be desirable. This is a collaborative Independent Co-Educational College. The school has approximately 540 students and 50 teaching staff and is on the lookout for vibrant leaders of the future to join their school community.
Key Duties:
- Have a clear passion about the Science curriculum to inspire students
- Work in a collaborative environment
- Plan and implement high quality teaching and learning programs
Skills & Experience:
- Secondary teaching qualification and able to teach Science
- A strong passion to empower and motivate students in the Science space
- Stage 5 and 6 Physics knowledge desirable
- Hold a valid and up to date NESA registration
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references
Offering:
- Stage 4-6 Science
- Term 3 start until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension into 2025
- Full time
- Ongoing support provided
- Offering of salary based on your proven experience, with a range of $81,800-$122,500 + Super
