Salary: $79,000 - $118,000 + Super + $9,000 incentive payment
Location: Broadmeadows, Victoria
Status: Full-time, Ongoing
Commencement: Term 3, 2025
Outstanding Special Developmental School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join their dynamic team starting in Term 3, 2025.
Join a team that caters to students with moderate to profound intellectual disabilities and complex needs, supporting each learner to achieve their individual potential in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
About the Role:
As a classroom teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated learning programs tailored to the needs of students with disabilities. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including support staff, therapists, and families to provide holistic support for students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Requirements:
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to inclusive education and student-centred practice
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Desirable:
Qualifications or experience in Special Education are highly regarded
